Arts & Culture Committee
Our Arts & Culture Committee promotes Mongolian heritage, creativity, and cultural connection through community programs and events. We organize Naadam Festival, Tsagaan Sar celebrations, cultural performances featuring Mongolian artists, and initiatives that share Mongolian art and culture in Canada.
Our Programs
This year, we continued to bring our community together through a variety of cultural celebrations and events. In February, we hosted our Tsagaan Sar celebration at UBC, celebrating the Mongolian Lunar New Year with traditional food, cultural performances, and family-friendly activities.
On June 20, we held our annual Naadam Festival at John Hendry Park, featuring traditional Mongolian games, music, dance, and food.
In September, we welcomed Tamir, singer and guitarist of Aizam, back to Vancouver for a special concert celebrating Aizam’s 50th anniversary on September 26.
