About
The BC Mongolian Community is a non-profit society based in British Columbia, working to build an active, united, and engaged Mongol community while proudly sharing Mongol heritage as part of Canada’s cultural mosaic.

Rooted in community efforts that began in 1998, our society continues this legacy through year-round programs in arts and culture, education, and sports. Since 2017, we have organized over 100 community programs, including 28 arts and culture events, 30 sports activities, and over 50 educational programs, fostering connection, learning, cultural celebration, and wellbeing.

Our work is driven entirely by volunteers who are committed to preserving and celebrating Mongol heritage, empowering community members of all ages, and fostering cross-cultural understanding within Canada. Guided by our mission and vision, we continue to grow as a welcoming and inclusive community that honors tradition while embracing the future.
This year, we established dedicated Arts & Culture, Education, and Sports committees to lead key initiatives, expand programming, and strengthen community engagement across all areas.
