Mongolian Language &
Cultural Program (MLCP)

The Mongolian Language & Cultural Program (MLCP), also known as Mongol Ukhaan, is a BCMC community program that helps children and youth learn the Mongolian language, connect with their culture, and build relationships within the Mongolian community in British Columbia.

Through weekly classes, cultural activities, and community events, MLCP creates a welcoming space where children can celebrate their heritage while growing up in Canada.

About MLCP

Founded in 2017 by Bolormaa Dorjpalam and Ochko [Last Name], the Mongolian Language & Cultural Program (MLCP) supports children, youth, and families by providing opportunities to learn Mongolian language, traditions, and culture.

The program was created to help younger generations maintain a connection to their heritage and build pride in their Mongolian identity. Students learn language skills while exploring Mongolian history, traditions, stories, songs, and cultural activities.

Meet Our Educators

Our educators bring experience in Mongolian language instruction, early childhood education, community programming, and cultural education.
